Landlord & Tenant Administrator

As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking candidates for the position of Landlord Tenant Administrator located in our Guelph, Ontario head office.

Job Description
The Landlord Tenant Administrator is responsible for assisting the Landlord Tenant Supervisor in preparing legal documents for submission to the Landlord and Tenant Board, and following up directly on any other matter related to Landlord Tenant Board applications. This position is also responsible for providing administrative support to the Business Operations department.

Qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), Ontario Human Rights Code and other applicable legislation.
  • Knowledgeable of database management and strong data entry skills.
  • Familiarity with leasing/rental documents and lease negotiation principles.
  • Strong researching, legal documentation and file management skills.

 Ability to:

  • Demonstrate good customer service skills 
  • Multi-task effectively while remaining detail-oriented
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Operate under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Withstand stress while ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
  • Analytical skills and ability to see the big picture
  • Very good time management and organizational skills
  • Read and interpret documents especially those related to the LTB


Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years post-secondary education; OR 3 years of relevant and equivalent workplace experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
