Environmental Coordinator

We’re growing!!  And looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team as an Environmental Coordinator located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.

Job Description

Do you have a passion for environmental regulations?  In this role, you’d be responsible for assisting Skyline in meeting environmental requirements through acting as the primary contact for environmental regulatory agencies and vendors as well as providing technical, process, and environmental assistance to the Asset Management and Property Management teams while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities

What we look for:

  • A lover of environmental legislation and the ability to accurately interpret for business (and a sense of humour!).
  • Previous experience with environmental audits and identifying areas for improvements.
  • A unique ability to keep an eye on compliance while thinking outside the box.
  • Professionalism, sense of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Someone who can see the problems before they happen (think the matrix) and use good judgment and innovation to solve it.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years post-secondary education or 3 years equivalent workplace experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
